Employing staff for the first time? Don't ignore auto enrolment!

Under the Pensions Act 2008, every employer in the UK must enrol their staff into a workplace pension. This is part of your legal duties under auto enrolment legislation. The date on which your legal duties start is known as your staging date, and you can check yours here

From October this year, if you're employing staff for the first time, you will need to enrol them into a workplace pension scheme from their first day of employment.
