Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contracting Industry
A subsidiary company of the Heating & Ventilating Contractors' Association (HVCA), Welplan Limited was incorporated in 1965 to provide Holiday Pay and Welfare Benefits for operatives employed in the Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration contracting Industry (HVACR).
The benefits effective from October 2009 are scheduled in the industry’s two-year Wage Agreement for 2009/10– 2010/11 (JCC letters 100 and 101). and these may be enhanced and/or extended through Welplan to suit individual employer’s specific requirements.

Also in 1978 the HVCA arranged for Welplan Limited to provide the benefits for Staff employees required under the Environmental Engineering Industry’s Staff Agreement (EESA). Details of the benefits are set out in the NJC handbook of agreements and the 1 January 2007 Review of Staff Agreement.
